Registration and Tuition
- A non-refundable registration fee of $40 per student ($55/family) is due at registration for Fall and Spring classes. Summer classes are not required to pay this fee.
- Tuition is $60 a month. Our school year consists of 38 weekly class sessions from August through May. Monthly tuition is charged via AutoPay on the 1st of each month starting August 1st. Tuition will remain consistent regardless of scheduled breaks/holidays, weather closings, and/or student absence. Summer class tuition is due at registration.
- AutoPay is required for enrollment. We accept credit cards and debit cards. A small processing fee will be applied.
- Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of dancer’s attendance; any request for an exception is considered on a case-by-case basis, such as a serious illness or injury verified by physician’s note.
- Any tuition or fees not paid by the 10th of the month will incur a $15 late fee, charged on the 11th of the month. Outstanding balances over 60 days may result in the student’s removal from class(es). Students who are removed from classes and desire to re-enroll must pay any outstanding balance plus an additional registration fee to rejoin the class; re-enrollment is subject to class availability.
Uniform Policy
- Pre-Ballet and Ballet Classes: Dancers can wear any color ballet leotard and skirt of their choice, along with pink ballet tights and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be secured back in a ballet bun. No jewelry allowed.
- Jazz, Tap and Lyrical Classes: Dancers can wear any color leotard with black jazz pants or modest length biker shorts and tan jazz shoes. Tan tights MUST be worn with shorts. Hair needs to be secured back and not in your face. No jewelry allowed.
- Hip Hop: Dancers can wear any t-shirt or tank top that is modest with logos appropriate for a christ-centered studio. No midriffs allowed. Pants will be black leggings, black long biker/athletic shorts or black sweat pants. Baggy clothing is allowed but please make sure it does not hider your ability to move fully. Specific hip hop shoes will be required that will not be used as street shoes to keep our floors clean and to look uniform for recital. Hair must be secured back and not in your face. No jewelry allowed.
- Baby Ballet: Dancers can wear any leotard, skirt and tights or comfortable shorts/leggings and t-shirt/tank. Please be modest in your outfit choices for your kiddo and for the guardian participating in class. Pink ballet shoes required for dancer. No jewelry allowed. Guardians must wear socks or go barefoot, no street shoes allowed.
- Male Dancers: Boys can wear a solid colored t-shirt and black basketball shorts or black joggers. If In ballet, black ballet shoes are required. If In jazz/lyrical, black jazz shoes are required. If in hip hop, tennis shoes are required (no street shoes allowed). If in tap, black tap shoes are required. No jewelry allowed.
- Adult Dancers: Dancers can wear any comfortable clothing that you can move well In. All outfits must be modest and conservative. If In ballet, pink ballet shoes are required. If In lyrical, jazz shoes or dance sneakers are required. If in hip hop, tennis shoes are required (no street shoes allowed). No street shoes allowed.
- Summer Class Attire: Dancers can wear any leotard, skirt and tights or comfortable longer shorts/leggings and t-shirt/tank top that is modest with logos appropriate for a christ-centered studio. Dance shoes specific to your genre of dance is requested but not required.
Attendance
Class attendance will be taken at each class, and regular attendance is expected. If a student has excessive absences, especially at the end of the season (March-May), their Recital participation is not guaranteed; the student’s eligibility to perform will be at the discretion of their instructor and studio director.
Student Withdrawal
To withdraw from class, you must email us by the 10th day of the month to avoid being charged tuition for the following month. Your dancer will be eligible to continue attending class through the end of the month, if desired. Withdrawal notices made after the 10th will result in tuition being charged the following month.
Class Minimum
Each class session must have a minimum of three students enrolled. If class enrollment does not meet the minimum student requirement, the class session will be canceled and an alternative class offered. If we are unable to provide a convenient alternative class, you will be issued a refund.
Refunds
At this time, we do not provide refunds or makeup classes for missed classes, holidays, or weather closings. If we must cancel a class due to instructor illness, we will offer your dancer a makeup opportunity in an alternate class. If a makeup class is not feasible, we will issue a refund for the canceled class. We will make an independent decision regarding inclement weather and communicate closures via email and text.
Studio Policies
- Family members waiting for dancers in the waiting area must be respectful of the space and mindful of noise levels and activity. Family members will be asked to vacate the studio if there is excessive noise and/or other disruptions.
- Students who are not potty trained MUST have a parent in the waiting area at all times.
- All children, whether they are dancers or siblings, must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Please come into the building to pick up your dancer. No dancer will be allowed to exit the building without a parent or caregiver escort.
- For safety reasons, our students must wait inside the studio space for their parents or guardians to arrive. If a child is not picked up within a reasonable amount of time, the studio manager will make every attempt to contact the parent(s) on file.
- Parents must arrive promptly for drop-off and pick-up. Faith in Motion and their instructors cannot be held responsible for dancers before and after their designated dance class.
Class Policies
- Students are expected to be on time and in compliance with our dress code.
- Students must enter and exit the classroom in a quiet and respectful manner.
- Students are not allowed to leave class without the instructor’s permission.
- Only dance shoes and approved tennis shoes are allowed in the classrooms. No street shows allowed!
- Student cell phones are prohibited in the classrooms.
- No food or gum is allowed in the dance area. Students may bring water bottles; no other drinks allowed.
- Parents are invited to watch class but must keep a quiet area for the students to learn.
- Teachers are required to stay in the classroom during their class session, so if you anticipate your child needing your assistance with the restroom or similar situation, please remain in the building. If you leave and your child needs assistance, you grant permission for a Faith in Motion staff member to escort your child to the restroom.
Annual Recital – May 29, 2027
- The non-refundable Recital package includes a performance fee of $125 per student, charged on February 1, 2027. A fee reminder will be communicated to you during the fall semester.
- Your recital fee includes: Costume, Tights, Recital T-shirt, Venue Fee and 4 Free Tickets to the Recital.
- Your dancer’s participation is assumed; if you choose to opt out of Recital, you must email us by January 15, 2026 to avoid charges.
Staying in Touch
- We encourage open, gracious communication between Faith in Motion's staff and our students and parents, and welcome feedback and suggestions from you. To honor the time and responsibilities of others, please do not address concerns to your dancer’s instructor before, during, or after class; instead, please email office@faithinmotiondance.com to ask questions or set up a time to share your concerns or feedback.
- Our monthly newsletters, reminders, and other important notifications will be communicated to you via email and/or text message. Please ensure that the contact information in your dancer’s portal is accurate. We cannot be held responsible for communications that are delivered to your spam or the wrong email address/phone number.
Multi-Student & Multi-Class Discounts
- For families enrolling more than one dancer, we provide a $5 discount for each additional enrolled sibling.
- We also apply a multi-class discount of 5% off each class for students taking more than one class.
Private Lessons & Custom Choreography

An extra $75 fee will be assessed if choreography is requested.
